At Mint, one of the most unforgettable moments that comes to mind was when a traveller had come in for a travel health consultation requesting a specific, more rare type of vaccine.  He was travelling to Thailand to visit his friend who was on life support. Unfortunately, his friend had travelled to Thailand without receiving travel health advice or vaccines and picked up a rare viral disease from a mosquito.

The friend was devastated and rushing to get to Thailand to see him, but understood the importance of protecting himself before going.
