Bringing Care to Our Communities

Our community-focused initiatives are one of the ways we work with other non-profits, businesses, public health organizations, and government to make a difference for Albertans. Our patient-centered and problem-solving approach helps to empower individuals to improve their lives.

Our programs touch many different aspects of the community. One example is the Hepatitis C Outreach Program for Micro-elimination (HOPE). This project works towards supporting marginalized individuals living with or at high-risk of acquiring Hepatitis C. The Cedar Den Project is another important initiative. Through this project, Mint Communities works on providing housing for people with deteriorating health situations. By providing housing for vulnerable populations, it reduces their socio-economic stress, which allows them to focus more on their health and overall mental-wellbeing.

Along with many other community-driven programs, these initiatives display how Mint is a key contributor to the wellbeing of the community. It also reflects Mint’s company-wide commitment to building healthy communities together.
