Mint Health + Drugs is looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented professional to support our Edmonton Head Office as an Executive Assistant & Paralegal. This person can be in Edmonton, AB or Victoria, BC.

This role is ideal for a seasoned administrative professional with strong legal or paralegal experience who can bring structure, discretion, follow-through, and sound judgment to a busy executive environment.
You will play a key role in supporting senior leadership while also assisting with legal, compliance, corporate, and documentation-related matters across the business. We are looking for someone who is organized, polished, proactive, and comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality.

What you will do:
In the Executive Assistant portion of the role, you will:
• Provide executive-level administrative support to senior leadership
• Manage calendars, meetings, travel, scheduling, and shifting priorities
• Prepare correspondence, agendas, presentations, reports, and meeting materials
• Track action items and follow up to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
• Support leadership with internal communications and coordination across departments
• Organize and maintain digital and physical records in a highly confidential manner
• Assist with special projects and other head office priorities as needed
In the Paralegal portion of the role, you will:
• Assist with preparation, review, formatting, and organization of legal and corporate documents
• Support contract administration, document tracking, and version control
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders
• Maintain corporate records, legal files, and regulatory documentation
• Help prepare materials related to leases, agreements, employment-related documents, compliance matters, and corporate filings
• Conduct basic legal, regulatory, or background research as requested
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, properly filed, and easy to retrieve
You are someone who:
• Has previous experience as an Executive Assistant, senior administrative professional, paralegal, or in a similar dual-function role
• Brings excellent judgment, tact, and discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Is exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple priorities without losing details
• Writes clearly and professionally and has strong document formatting skills
• Is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
• Can anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep moving pieces organized behind the scenes
• Is comfortable supporting executives in a dynamic, evolving business environment
Qualifications:
• Diploma or certificate in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assistant Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in executive support, legal administration, paralegal work, or a related role
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Experience drafting, proofreading, and coordinating formal business or legal documents
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills
• Experience working in a corporate, professional services, healthcare, or multi-site environment is an asset
